I am loving that today’s unplugged activity was fun and also for charity. Fantastic. I cannot wait til my son is older so we can do those things, too. (He’s 6 months old.)
I just subbed to your blog, love it! I blog too (see below)

Just found you through “My Family Loves It.” We unplugged (with the exception of grandpa’s house and the occasional movie) because TV was like heroine to my son. Now that he’s almost 8, he can recognize it himself and actually says he’s “house sick” if he watches too much of it. Best thing we ever did. Anyway, great site.

Welcome to “Unplug Your Kids” and thanks for your comment! That is really interesting about your son and how he recognizes what it feels like to OD on TV. I sometimes wonder if boys are more prone to TV addiction. I have two girls and one boy and I know that my son is the one who would have been the biggest TV addict if I had let him. Now he is my most prolific reader. Maybe someone will do a study one day. Thanks again for the comment and I am glad you like my site!
