Thank You DeepBlog!
I just want to say a big thank you to DeepBlog for choosing to list Unplug Your Kids as one of their “Promising New Blogs. ” DeepBlog is “an easy to use guide and portal to quality blogs for newcomers to the blogosphere.”
They also published my two “why I blog” posts (Why am I Doing This? and Why I Blog) on their “Why I Blog” page. The “Why I Blog” page has essays and first posts from a wide variety of bloggers from all over the blogosphere writing about (…obviously…) why they blog and what they get out of blogging. It is definitely worth a look, especially if you wonder, as I constantly do, why we do this crazy thing!

Congratulations on the acknowledgement of DeepBlog! I have been enjoying your blog for awhile now. The credit is well deserved.
We live life much closer to your family’s unplugged end of the spectrum than not, though I continue to advocate an even greater unplugged lifestyle in our household. Some of my people are challenging me with resistance…
Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas. I continue to appreciate them!

Summer - I stopped by your blog and I will stop by again tomorrow when the kids are in school. It looks like you have some interesting posts and I want to take the time to read them properly.
Kimberly - I am so sorry I can’t respond personally to you. There is no link to a blog, and unfortunately Blogger doesn’t reveal emails like some of the other blogging platforms do.
Thank you so much for “de-lurking!” I love to hear that people are enjoying what I write. Good luck with the family negotiations. It can be hard when other members of the household are less enthusiastic about the unplugged lifestyle. That would be a great subject for a post, wouldn’t it?
